A Real Estate Executive Education Program Designed Specifically for Family Offices, Families, Family office Executives and Industry Professionals.
Build a foundation in real estate portfolio management that is essential for family offices, family members, family office executives and industry professionals. You'll prepare to make better real estate investment decisions - and play a bigger role in developing your family's real estate portfolio. This program will help you:
Understand the implications of Real Estate Market Cycles that can help you make informed decisions based upon current economic conditions.
Develop successful and realistic portfolio structures for managing the family office real estate portfolio.
Understand how to underwrite a potential sponsor.
Engage in productive discussions with other family offices, family members, family office executives and industry professionals.
Address the concerns of family members who are not real estate specialists and present information in ways that support their decision-making.
Real Estate represents the largest generator of wealth for families outside of the businesses that initially earned them their fortunes. At the FORE Institute, you will be fully immersed in an experience of learning and building a network of other family offices, family members, family office executives, and industry professionals from around the world. You will be engaged in classes led by top faculty from prominent universities like the University of Denver, Harvard, Wharton, and leading industry experts around the US. It's an experience that will provide knowledge that you will use for generations to come.

Designed for family members, family office executives, and key decision-makers to refine their leadership style and effectively navigate organizational challenges. Learn cutting-edge tools and techniques to transform these challenges into opportunities for positive change and sustainable growth in the real estate sector.
Attendance by multiple family members and their executives will foster teamwork and amplify the program's impact on your organization.
The institute objective is to have 70-80% of participants consisting of family offices, family members, or family office executives to learn from discussions, case studies, lectures, and collaborating with other attendees; you'll be able to deepen your knowledge and understanding of real estate while also learning from others.
We admit candidates to specific sessions on a rolling, space-available basis, and encourage you to apply as early as possible. Although most programs have no formal educational requirements, admission is a selective process based on your professional achievement and organizational responsibilities.
Applicant Qualifications:
Each Executive Education program at the Family Office Real Estate Institute has its requirements. You must generally work for a Family Office, be a Family Member, Family Office Executive or Industry Professional. Although no formal education requirements exist, the selective admissions process is based on your affiliation with the Family Office industry. Our programs at the Institute are designed to foster among participants proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.

The Family Office Real Estate Institute reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission if any part of your application contains misrepresentations or if you engage in, or have engaged in, behavior that violates the Institute’s policies.
Letter of Reference:
Specific programs also require a letter of reference from a Family Office, a Family Member or an Institute graduate familiar with the applicant’s role and responsibilities and can provide a detailed firsthand account. If a letter of reference is required, it will be indicated in the program offers.
Family Office Attendance:
Team participation enhances the Family Offices’ ability to develop real estate investment goals as a group, create strategies for implementing change, and transfer knowledge across the Family Office —while pursuing a shared vision. Many programs are appropriate for a Family Office, other Family Members, and any internal Family Office Professionals. Contact a representative to review programs that may be well suited for your Family Office or a customized program specifically for your Family and Family Office. All applications are required for the Admissions Committee to make an admissions decision.

Our family office real estate programs are offered online and in-person, enabling you to deepen your knowledge, broaden your skill set, and collaborate with a global network of peers. If needed, consult with our Program Advising team for a personalized recommendation.
Submitting an Application:
Before you submit your application, please be sure you have answered all the questions thoroughly and have printed or saved your application for your records. With many programs, your application and all required documents must be received before being considered for program admissions. Some programs require additional supporting materials, so please read the admissions requirements for your selected program thoroughly.

Going Through the Admissions Process:
For most programs, the Admissions Committee meets bi-monthly and admits qualified candidates on a rolling, space-available basis. Select programs have application deadlines, as noted on the program page on our website. For all programs, early application is strongly encouraged. Payment:
Upon acceptance into a program, you’ll receive an electronic invoice from our admissions department payable within 30 days of receipt. Please review the payment policies and the steps for cancelling or deferring participation.
Enhancing your Program Experience:
Our admissions team will be your primary point of contact before and during the program. Before your program starts, you will receive a link which gives you access to relevant case studies and a detailed program schedule.
Continuing the Conversation:
Once you complete a program, you become part of the FORE community. You will continue to be a resource for you in the family office community as you consider future programs at the Institute.

Over the course duration, you'll experience the power of a live classroom - discussing, debating, and engaging live with faculty and peers—while charting your education trajectory with a small group of fellow class participants. The on-campus classroom sessions with the FORE Institutes Faculty will take place Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Finishing Friday at noon.
